Baby and Children photography can almost be related to sport and wildlife photography – you either capture the moment or you miss it. So I keep my eye on the ball at all times when working with kids. You never know how long that smile will last or when the best moment is going to happen. You can’t tell them to pose again or to laugh again as in model photography. One has to work fast with kids because they get bored very quickly and once they have reached that stadium, you can forget about getting anything out of them! It is extremely important to have the right camera equipment to capture that second of laughter. Children are more at ease in their comfort zone like your home, a park or a playground. That’s why I shoot on location. I setup a mobile studio with lights and backdrops if necessary and shoot accordingly. Check out my photo galleries on babies, children, kiddies, and family portraits.
